The surrounding area

We are just 5 minutes drive away from the charming Victorian coastal towns of Portishead & Clevedon.

Portishead

Portishead is situated just off Junction 19 of the M5.  The Portishead Marina is a lovely place to visit with a selection of bars, restaurants and cafes to enjoy or just a perfect place for a stroll whilst viewing the yachts and sailing boats.

The Lake Grounds are a pleasant place to visit, there is plenty of space to relax or simply feed the ducks.  There is also a heated open-air swimming pool open during the summer months.  Portishead also has a sports centre which also has a large indoor swimming pool.

Clevedon

Clevedon is situated just off Junction 20 and like Portishead has a pebbled shoreline.  Clevedon has a restored Victorian pier which is a local landmark.

There is plenty to see and do in Clevedon, country walks, tennis courts, horse riding, a sports centre with an indoor swimming pool and there are also pubs and restaurants nearby.  Clevedon is also home of the Curzon Cinema, which is the oldest continually running cinema in the world.

Yatton Railway Station is just 4 miles from Clevedon.

Bristol & Bath

The historical cities of Bristol and Bath have plenty to offer visitors and the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare are only a short drive away.

There is also a large shopping Mall at Cribbs Causeway with over 135 stores and next to it there is a multi-complex cinema and Hollywood Bowl, all approximately 20 minutes drive away.
